The 3HDtect Real-Time PCR Kit from Genes2Me is a highly sensitive multiplex molecular assay designed for the simultaneous qualitative detection and differentiation of HIV RNA, HCV RNA, and HBV DNA from blood, serum, and plasma samples. How the Assay Works


The 3HDtect assay utilizes multiplex Real-Time RT-PCR technology incorporating pathogen-specific primers and fluorescent probes for HIV, HCV, and HBV detection.

  • HCV detection: FAM channel
  • HIV detection: HEX channel
  • HBV detection: Texas Red channel
  • Internal Control (IC): Cy5 channel

Following nucleic acid extraction, target sequences are amplified and detected in real-time. The Internal Control validates extraction efficiency and PCR performance, while Positive and No Template Controls ensure assay reliability and contamination monitoring.
