Blood DNA Extraction

Overview

The SpiNXT Plasmid DNA Extraction Kit utilizes an alkaline lysis method combined with silica membrane spin-column technology to efficiently purify plasmid DNA from bacterial cells. Following cell lysis, plasmid DNA is selectively separated from genomic DNA, proteins, and cellular debris. RNase treatment removes RNA contaminants, while optimized wash buffers ensure effective elimination of salts, enzymes, and other impurities. The released plasmid DNA binds specifically to the silica membrane. Subsequent washing steps remove residual contaminants, and the purified plasmid DNA is finally eluted in a low-salt buffer. The resulting DNA exhibits high purity, integrity, and concentration, making it suitable for a wide range of downstream molecular biology applications.
