The SpiNXT Fecal RNA Extraction Kit is based on silica membrane spin-column technology, enabling selective binding of RNA under optimized lysis and binding conditions. Fecal samples are first homogenized and lysed to release RNA, followed by adsorption of RNA onto a silica membrane. Contaminants such as proteins, salts, inhibitors, and other fecal impurities are efficiently removed through wash steps. Purified RNA is finally eluted in a low-salt buffer or water, yielding high-integrity RNA suitable for sensitive downstream applications. The workflow eliminates the use of hazardous organic solvents and supports consistent, reproducible RNA purification from challenging fecal samples.
