Blood DNA Extraction

Overview

The SpiNXT Bacterial RNA Extraction Kit is based on silica membrane spin-column technology, enabling selective binding of RNA under optimized lysis and salt conditions. Bacterial cells are efficiently lysed using enzymatic and detergent-based lysis to release RNA while denaturing proteins and inactivating RNases. The released RNA binds specifically to the silica membrane in the presence of chaotropic salts. Contaminants such as proteins, salts, and cellular debris are removed through wash steps, and purified RNA is finally eluted using a low-salt buffer or nuclease-free water. The workflow eliminates the need for phenol/chloroform extraction or alcohol precipitation and ensures consistent recovery of high-quality bacterial RNA.
