Overview

MagNXT Saliva DNA Extraction Kit employs a magnetic bead-based purification approach combined with enzymatic reactions to isolate genomic DNA from saliva and buccal swab samples. During the process, cells are efficiently lysed using optimized buffers and enzymes, followed by selective binding of DNA to magnetic beads. Subsequent wash steps remove contaminants and enzyme inhibitors such as proteins and divalent cations. Purified DNA is then eluted, yielding high-quality DNA suitable for molecular analysis.

The workflow requires no phenol/chloroform extraction or alcohol precipitation, enabling safer handling, minimal processing steps, and consistent DNA recovery making it ideal for routine use in research and molecular biology laboratories.
